Hello my friends and yoga practitioners,
Thanks to everyone for your best wishes and blessings. I really feel fortunate to have you all in my Life.
I am still in my journey of self -discovery and transformation. I am so excited to celebrate 2017/18 with my first yoga teacher Dr Kushala Das, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of her yoga school, Mahilla Yoga Bayaam Kendra. This is the school where I began my yoga practice at age four. It provides service for Women’s Health and Wellness with Yoga therapy and Naturopathy. I am fortunate to have such a wonderful mentor. She is a phenomenal Lady who I worship for her selfless service.
One of the most important teachings of yoga is that our innermost nature is divine. Very often we are unaware of this and mistake ourselves for just a body and intellect, both of which exist within the realm of matter and are subject to decay and death. All of our misery is a consequence of this false identification. Yoga leads us to the direct experience of our inner Self—our true identity. With this realization, comes liberation from all human imperfections.
All of the limbs on the Eight-fold path are practical guides to a person’s personal development to achieve the harmony of the mind, body and spirit, which leads to enlightenment. The practice of these eight principles leads to deeper self- knowledge, love, and respect towards other people, and ultimately, to Union with the Divine.
I wish all of you best in Life and Healthy and Peaceful Year 2018. Happy New Year!
Love and Peace,
